As a personal trainer and a fitness fanatic myself, I have firsthand experience with sports nutrition. Whether dealing with high level athletes, CrossFit competitors, competitive body builders or weekend warriors, great nutrition is central to great performance. Time and time again I see clients and friends killing themselves in the gym, yet unable to achieve their goals, whether they be aesthetic or performance based. The missing piece of the puzzle is generally always diet related, and comes down to people underestimating the importance of fuelling their body correctly.
